Configure Shopify Non-Plus Staff Users Onboarding

1. Setup a new Chrome Profile (Conditional)

NOTE:

1. If you are managing multiple Shopify stores that are not connected to miniOrange SSO, we highly recommend setting up a separate Chrome profile for seamless access.

2. If you are using miniOrange CASB to secure your Shopify Store Admin, we recommend creating a separate Chrome profile to prevent any access conflicts with other Shopify stores.



• Navigate to your current Chrome profile and click on the profile icon in the top-right corner, as shown below.



• After clicking the profile icon, a list of your existing profiles will appear. At the bottom of this list, you will find an Add button, click on it.



• This will open the profile creation menu, where you can select Continue without an account.



• Enter a name for your profile and click Done.



• Once you have completed the above steps, your separate Chrome profile for SSO in your Shopify store will be successfully set up.

2. Steps to Install miniOrange CASB Extension

• Go to the Chrome Web Store and navigate to the miniOrange CASB extension.



• A prompt will appear. Click on Add Extension to install it in your browser.



• Upon successful installation, a confirmation prompt will appear.



• Click on the Extensions icon in the top-right corner, find miniOrange CASB extension, and click the pin icon to keep it easily accessible. .



• Click on the miniOrange CASB extension to open the configuration screen. Select your operating system (Windows or macOS) and click Next.



• After clicking Next, an installer file will be downloaded based on your OS:

  1. Windows → .msi file

  2. macOS → .tar file

• After installing the Secure Trust Certificate on your system, click on the miniOrange CASB and select Configure Applications.



• Enable the Shopify Non-Plus application and enter the SSO URL provided by your administrator in the designated field.



• If your Shopify Store Admin is secured by CASB policies restricted access, you must enable the CASB toggle. Otherwise, you will not be able to sign in to your Shopify Store Admin.



• Click Save to apply the changes.



• Now, turn on the extension by clicking the power button.



• Once the extension is configured and switched on, as shown below, you're all set to use it.



• Now, navigate to the Shopify Login Page and try signing into your applications.
