Panacea Biotec was looking to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for MS365 apps hosted behind Netskope and Valgenesis applications using Active Directory Credentials.
Panacea Biotec desired to enable a quick and seamless login experience for its users and the security risks and challenges faced by Panacea Biotec required them to implement an advanced Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) system to authenticate their users.
Panacea Biotec implemented miniOrange’s Identity Provider, which serves as a Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) provider and a bridge between Office365 and Active Directory. miniOrange IdP communicates with Active Directory via the LDAP protocol and with Netskope Proxy via the SAML protocol. It also uses the SAML protocol to interact with the Valgenesis application.
miniOrange implemented Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) in which the users utilised various second-factor methods, including email, SMS, Google Authenticator, and Microsoft Authenticator.
miniOrange implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) for Panacea Biotec which enabled users to quickly and easily login to their Microsoft and Valgensis applications using their Active Directory (AD) credentials.
miniOrange also installed a Gateway in the DMZ zone to securely connect to the Active Directory Server and keep the AD and the miniOrange IDP in sync. The HTTPS protocol is used to encrypt all cloud communication.
miniOrange also offered Panaceabiotec with DownNotifier, which sent an email to the administrator whenever the Gateway Server went down. This enabled their team to respond immediately.
miniOrange successfully implemented the desired Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) solution for Panacea Biotec. By using miniOrange’s secure Single Sign-On (SSO) solution, Panacea Biotec users seamlessly logged into their application using their active directory credentials. This led to increased productivity and improved user experience.
Also, by implementing miniOrange’s Multi-factor authentication (MFA), Panacea Biotec benefited from enhanced security for their applications and reduced the chances of a user gaining unwanted access to the system. Overall, Panacea Biotec was able to cut down on its IT costs, and spend less time and resources on IT security management issues.
