Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) for Oracle FLEXCUBE


Configure Oracle FLEXCUBE SSO in a few simple steps using this setup guide. miniOrange SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) allows secure Single Sign-On access to your Oracle FLEXCUBE Account & other specific On-Premise / Cloud apps using a single set of existing login credentials.

Oracle FLEXCUBE SSO solution also provides an option to integrate with multiple third-party Identity Providers which support SAML and OAuth sort of standard protocols. IDP here means (Okta, Auth0, Ping, Onelogin, etc) or Active Directory (AD) where your existing users are managed. Oracle FLEXCUBE SSO for Cloud Identity, eliminating passwords by redirecting users to an external identity provider (IdP) for authentication, enhancing user experience with existing credentials.

Prerequisites

Please make sure your organisation branding is already set under Customization >> Login and Registration Branding in the left menu of the dashboard.


Follow the Step-by-Step Guide given below to Configure Oracle FLEXCUBE SSO Platform

1. Configure Oracle FLEXCUBE in miniOrange

  • Login into miniOrange Admin Console.
  • Go to Apps and click on Add Application button.
  • Oracle FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (SSO) add app

  • In Choose Application, select SAML/WS-FED from the application type dropdown.
  • Oracle FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (SSO) choose app type

  • Search for Oracle FLEXCUBE in the list, if you don't find Oracle FLEXCUBE in the list then, search for custom and you can set up your application in Custom SAML App.
  • Oracle FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (SSO) manage apps

  • Provide a appropriate name for the application, then retrieve the "SP Entity ID" and "ACS URL" from the Flexcube side based on the module you are using.
  • Enable the following options: Sign Response and Sign Assertion.
  • Configure Oracle FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (SSO)

  • Click Save.
  • In the Application, search for your app and click on the icon ' ' in Actions menu against your app.
  • Then select Edit.
  • FLEXCUBE SSO: Update logo

  • Click on + Icon besides Attributes and enter username in small cases.
  • FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (sso): Add Attribute

  • Click on Save.
  • Get IdP Metadata Details to upload to Oracle FLEXCUBE:

  • Go to Apps >> Applications.
  • Search for your app and click on three dot icon in Actions menu against your app.
  • Click on Metadata to get metadata details, which will be required later. Click on Show SSO Link to see the IDP initiated SSO link for Oracle FLEXCUBE.
  • Oracle FLEXCUBE SAML SSO: Go to Metadata link

  • Here you will see 2 options, if you are setting up miniOrange as IDP copy the metadetails related to miniOrange, if you required to be authenticated via external IDP's (OKTA, AZURE AD, ADFS, ONELOGIN, GOOGLE APPS) you can get metadata from the 2nd Section as shown below.
  • FLEXCUBE SSO Configuration: Add SAML Application

  • Keep the SAML Login URL and SAML Logout URL, then click the Download Certificate button to download certificate. The certificate will be in a .crt file, which needs to be converted into a .jks file. You will need this in Step 2.
  • FLEXCUBE SSO: Select Metadata details external IDP or miniOrange as IDP

2. Configure SSO in Oracle FLEXCUBE

  • To configure single sign-on on Oracle FLEXCUBE Platform side, you need to send the downloaded Metadata XML and appropriate copied URLs from miniOrange portal to Oracle FLEXCUBE support team. They set this setting to have the SAML SSO connection set properly on both sides.

3. Test SSO Configuration

Test SSO login to your Oracle FLEXCUBE account with miniOrange IdP:

    Using SP Initiated Login

    • Go to your Oracle FLEXCUBE URL, here you will be either asked to enter the username or click on the SSO link which will redirect you to miniOrange IdP Sign On Page.
    • Oracle FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (SSO) login

    • Enter your miniOrange login credential and click on Login. You will be automatically logged in to your Oracle FLEXCUBE account.

    Using IDP Initiated Login

    • Login to miniOrange IdP using your credentials.
    • Oracle FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (SSO)

    • On the Dashboard, click on Oracle FLEXCUBE application which you have added, to verify SSO configuration.
    • Oracle FLEXCUBE Single Sign-On (SSO) verify configuration
