Enable multi-language support

An organization’s users may be spread across the globe and it’s not necessary that everyone will understand English, which is the primary language in miniOrange IDP. To make it easier for users, we have multi-language support wherein an organization as well as end users both can select their own preferred language.

An administrator can allow users to select their preferred language. Please note that the user’s preference overrides the organization’s preferred language.

Steps to Enable feature by the administrator

• Login to you admin dashboard here.
• Click on Settings on the top right corner.



• Navigate to Account >> Languages feature.



• Enable Localization and select your preferred language. For starters, we have selected German. Scroll down and click on save.
• This will enable the German language by default to all new end users.
The preferred language of existing users will not change by default.
• Now you can go to your end user login page which can be found as the login page url in the customisation tab under login page url.
• You will see a dropdown on the top right corner.



• Once a user selects their preferred language in the dropdown, they will see the login page in that language from the next time.

Steps to change the language preference for end users

• Login to the miniOrange console as a user.
• Click on Personal Profile tab under your profile on top right corner.



• Change your preferred language from the dropdown by selecting the globe icon.



• Click on save.
