Enable MFA for the Self-Service Console


How to enable MFA for the Self-Service Console:

  • Go to Policies -> App Login Policy.
  • Click on Edit in the Action column for Self service console App Name.
  • miniOrange Identity Platform Partner Portal Handbook: Edit Self-Service Policy

  • Select the Login method to Password from the dropdown.
  • miniOrange Identity Platform Partner Portal Handbook: View Policy

  • Enable the toggle button for Enable 2-Factor Authentication (MFA) to enable MFA for the Self-Service Console. You will be presented with the following options:
  • miniOrange Identity Platform Partner Portal Handbook: Enable 2FA/MFA toggle

    Select MFA method for Policy Change this option only if you want to force the users to use a specific method for this application. You can choose from the 15 available MFA methods from the dropdown. Selecting a Default MFA method will override other MFA option settings.
    Allow end users to enable/disable 2-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enabling this option will disable MFA for users by default, but users under this policy will have the option to enable MFA for their logins if desired.
  • Click Save.
