How to add an Asset

Assets represent remote machines and can be classified into two types: RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) or SSH (Secure Shell).

  • Go to Assets -> All Assets -> Add Asset from the side menu.
    • Privileged Access Management Admin Handbook: Navigate to Assets then All Asset -> click Add Asset

  • Enter the following details in the form:
    • Asset Name Any Identifier that specifies Asset name.
    Asset Type Type of Asset either RDP or SSH.
    Port Port of remote machine.
    IP/Host Location of a remote machine on the network. Should be {IP} or {hostname.com} format.
    System User Select System user from the dropdown
    Privileged Access Management Admin Handbook: Under Add Asset, provide the required details

  • After configuring the given above details, click on Add button.
    • Privileged Access Management Admin Handbook: Click on Add button
